When I first entered into the world of photography, I was at a loss of how to begin, how to price myself, how to find my clients. I knew I loved taking photographs and I was passionate about creating my own business. But, where to start?
I followed other photographers, watched all the youtube videos I could and spent my afternoons “building my portfolio” at a price that couldn’t cover the babysitter.
Fast forward to today and I finally have a business I love, I believe in, and I actually profit from.
That’s where you come in.
The Entrusted Photographer was born out of the belief that we, as professional photographers, have been entrusted with a calling and ministry to capture each family’s blessings through our talents. Our images, videos, and artwork are a glimpse into the abundant gifts that our clients have been given. We aim to capture each family’s love through our work, while we also acknowledge the importance in creating a sustainable, thriving business. Through collaboration, instruction, sharing, and friendship, our goal is to enhance your learning, your skills, your business, and more.

Join Team KLP for a 4 hour workshop on all things Cherry Blossoms
This 4-hour workshop will teach attendees everything they need to know to build a successful *SPRING* Cherry Blossom event – at the Tidal Basin or at a location near you.
The first two hours of the workshop will focus on business and marketing. Education will include step-by-step tools to create a *profitable* mini session event, instructions for NPS permits, National Park regulations, business tools, marketing techniques, client experience, social media strategies to sell-out sessions and more. The course will cover an introduction to successful pricing for profit, mini session techniques, and an introduction IPS.
The second two hours will include shooting, posing, lighting, and workflow. This will be an on location shoot for instruction and portfolio building. Attendees will have time to create a portfolio to attract future Cherry Blossom clients.

Professional photographers looking to grow their business by adding full or mini sessions during the spring season. This may or may not be at the Tidal Basin specifically.

What can you expect from the workshop?
Each workshop seat includes the two hour classroom instruction, two hour on location instruction, marketing material and templates for any sort of Cherry Blossom session, Tidal Basin specific materials as applicable, a new head shot, light snacks and access to the online Entrusted Photographer member community following the event.
